Dear CUGGers,Our regular second-Saturday meeting is coming up this Saturday, November 12th, same time, same place: 1:00 pm to 3:30pm, Classroom 2, Greeley Senior Activity Center, 1010 6th Street.CUGG has a Facebook page. Jamie Leben will discuss this and all the new features now in facebook. Lots of ways we CUGG members could use our page, ways we all might benefit from. Jamie will also review Google Plus for us -- Google's entry into the arena of personal interaction.It will be interesting to see what our attorney-in-residence, Mike Minton, thinks are interesting and important things that happened in the tech world recently. Mike will do our "Month in Review" this month.Don Wiegel will of course amaze and surprise us with gadgets he's found for us to see. Don uses some of his choices to make us aware of coming technologies -- just to educate us a little.After the break we'll separate for a few minutes into small groups of 4 to 6 people. Each group will be asked to report a list of tech things someone in the group has found useful or interesting -- ways they have enhanced their enjoyment of technology. Could be a program, a piece of furniture, a phone or phone app, a camera or photo app -- whatever little or big thing they've done that they like and maybe someone else in CUGG would like, too.Each group will report its list to the Moderator, me. A Secretary (yet to be named) will record each list. Then we can see what's been popular, and have an open discussion of items that need a little explaining.
