To access the WebBoard you need to point your browser to www.webboard.apcug.org.8080/loginagain as shown below. Once there CLICK the NEW USER button.

You are then presented with the initial sign up screen. It's really straight forward and easy as you can see from looking at the picture below.

Edit your profile and CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.

Once you are signed up and they have sent you the temporary password, you login and are presented with the following display.

Note there are several forums listed on the left to choose from; the most popular is the "APCUG Members Tips and Ideas" forum. Also note that when I logged in there were no new messages because I've read them all.

In the following picture you can see the OPTIONS that are available to each user from editing your profile information to subscribing to the mailing list to get the SAME forums sent you your email (so you don't need access the browser and their site to see the same forums--which is what I do.)

Below you see the "MARK READ" menu option screen displayed. You can mark some or all of the messages in the forums as READ.

Here we have the HELP screen listing accessed by clicking the HELP on the menu line.

I have presented this information so you now have the opportunity to access more resources in learning more about your PC, your user group, and APCUG. Right now you may have been silently asking, "What is APCUG anyway? What does it do and how is it associated with my user group?" The answer is shown below.

Additional help and information is available at /www.apcug.org/reports/.

What is APCUG?
The Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG) is an organization dedicated to helping member computer user groups succeed. The APCUG helps to foster communications by operating as an informal network between user group organizations and also with companies that provide computer related and Internet related goods and services. The APCUG also assists member groups in the fulfillment of their educational missions and activities by sharing with officers of member user groups, the knowledge of what it takes for user groups to better serve their members. The APCUG operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
